Move over the magnifier!

We want to print one model at a time. The advantage of this procedure is a much better print quality. On the other hand it takes more space on the build plate.
Even though the space needed for a proper print overlaps, the first model will be printed properly.
While printing the second model the already printed first model will cause an obstruction, so the print will fail.
Additionally there is a risk of hardware damage.
The print head needs a certain area of space to print the second model properly and not to be obstructed by the already printed first model. So we have to move the front model in y-axis direction (green arrow).
To avoid this:
Choose the model with a mouse click and select „Move“ from the left menu.
In cases where dimensional measurements of the part require better tolerances than ± 0.05 mm or surface roughness better than 10Ra, the indicated surfaces must be machined.
For these cases it is essential to provide an over thickness of material.
