For most prints and a reliable quality the „normal“-profile would suit the needs. Only a 3D-model with extraordinary fine structures would need the „fine“ or „extra fine“ profile.

Here you can see the standard options which are in the upper right corner of the „Cura“ user interface.




The nozzle diameter is set to 0.4 mm by default. This is a good choiice for most prints. So we don‘t have to change it. The most commonly used material is PLA and has also been set as the standard option. So we only have to take care of the profile settings.
